Why Our Trunnion Mounted Valve Works for Large and High Pressure Pipes
Big pipes and high pressure differences need a special design. A normal floating ball valve pushes the ball against the seat. This makes the torque high and the seat wear fast. Our Trunnion Mounted Valve has a fixed ball. The ball has bearings at the top and bottom. The media pressure on the ball transfers through the bearings to the body. The seat is spring-loaded. So you get two-way sealing. The model Q341F-16C means worm gear, flange, PTFE seal, PN16, and cast steel. This valve is for DN150 and above. The seat has a double piston effect. No matter which direction the media comes from, the seal is reliable.

Compared to floating ball valves, our Trunnion Mounted Valve has lower torque, a more reliable seal, and a longer life. The stem has a blow-out proof design. There is a grease injection hole. You can inject seal grease for an emergency stop. The top and bottom bearings are made of self-lubricating composite material. You do not need to add grease. We made DN250 Trunnion Mounted Valves for a PetroChina gas station. They ran for 2 years under 10MPa pressure. The valve was still easy to turn. The seal was still good. Our CNC boring machines and internal grinders keep the bearing hole concentricity within 0.02mm.
