Oxygen Globe Valve

Oxygen pipes have special safety needs. Normal valves have oil and grease. High pressure pure oxygen can cause a fire or explosion. Our Oxygen Globe Valve is made just for oxygen. We use a strict no-oil process. Every part that touches the media goes through a deep cleaning. This valve is used in steel making, air separation plants, and hospital oxygen systems. The body is stainless steel or copper alloy. The disc and seat can be soft or hard seal. Compared to normal globe valves, our Oxygen Globe Valve has a smoother flow path with no sharp corners. This stops sparks from high-speed oxygen flow. The stem packing is oil-free PTFE. All inside threads have an anti-seize design.

Suhao has a strict no-oil management system for making Oxygen Globe Valves. We have a special cleaning workshop. Our workers are trained. We use special cleaners and test equipment. One time, we made DN150 oxygen globe valves for a large steel company's oxygen pipe. The pressure was 2.5MPa. The valves ran for 2 years with no safety problems. Each Oxygen Globe Valve goes through three cleaning steps. First, a rough wash removes big oil stains. Second, a fine wash uses an ultrasonic cleaner. Third, we rinse with pure water and dry. After cleaning, we test with an ultraviolet lamp and a solvent wipe test. We make sure the oil residue meets the JB/T 6896 standard (≤125mg/m²).
