Sanitary Y Strainer

Steam, water, and oil pipes need a strainer to catch dirt. Our Sanitary Y Strainer is made of cast steel WCB. The structure is simple. It holds a lot of dirt. And it is easy to clean. The model GL41W-16C means strainer, flange, straight through, body seal, PN16, and cast steel. The mesh is made of 304 stainless steel multi-layer woven net. We can give you 10 mesh to 300 mesh. Compared to angle strainers, our Sanitary Y Strainer has lower flow resistance. You can install it horizontally or vertically. There is a flow guide plate inside. This spreads the media evenly over the full mesh surface. So the filtration efficiency is higher.

The bottom has a blow-down port. You can install a blow-down valve for online cleaning. The mesh cover uses bolts for a tight seal. It is easy to open and close. Suhao has over 20 years of experience making Y strainers. One time, we made DN250 Sanitary Y Strainers for a large heating network. The media was heating return water with some dirt. The pressure was 2.5MPa. The strainers ran for 3 years. We only cleaned the mesh twice. The mesh was still good. The gap between the mesh and the body is less than 1mm.
